Current FAO Consultant offers

FAO is seeking a long term consultant specialist in capture fisheries statistics to work in the FAO Statistics and Information Branch of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department (FI) at HQ in Rome. Due to the relevance of the capture fisheries production statistics, FAO  aims to hire the most qualified expert as possible. The position, at the current stage, is for a long term consultant, but our aim is to select a candidate with good opportunities for a growth in carrier path.

In addition, FAO isalso looking for a long term consultant in support to the Fisheries and Resources Monitoring System – FIRMS  http://firms.fao.org/ with skills in marine biology and information management. Interested candidates should apply to this generic vacancy as soon as possible:
